A Test for the Town-Planner

Both, the planners and populace of Kathmandu Metropolis in particular and, Kathmandu Valley in general have never learnt two terms – Planning and Deconstructions or Creative Destruction. The demolition rampage jointly carried out in main streets of Kathmandu by three authorities namely The Traffic Police, Kathmandu Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) and Kathmandu Valley Town Development Committee also probably lack vision of planning or creative destruction.
Norvic: Care at its Best

Chaudhary Group, a prominent corporate house of Nepal, established Norvic International Hospital in 1993 as a 30 bed facility. Today, the hospital operates 100 beds as a full-service community healthcare facility where 40 per cent of the beds are reserved for critical care – Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and Coronary Care Unit (CCU). Growing at a steady 20 per cent per annum for the last three years, it is scheduled to add 66 more beds by the end of March 2012. It also plans to become a 200-bedded super specialized general hospital in the very near future.
